Darrell Randell
Director
I have lived in this 1870s farmhouse all my life. The barn was constructed by my Great Aunt and Uncle in 1923. In the 1970s I began adapting and expanding it for hog production which I did for 25 years. In 2019 after retiring from Ducks Unlimited Canada, I had to decide on what to do with this old barn. I needed to have a purpose for the barn if I was going to make necessary investment to preserve it. Since I needed a drive shed, I converted the barn to machine storage, workshop with lots of other room to store other stuff that I probably should throw away.
